Summary:
Assumes the role of project leader in the development of new power generation resources. Leads and coordinates internal teams and external consultants on all aspects of resource development activities. What You'll Do:
Lead the investigation and evaluation of future resource options to meet load requirements and corporate goals. Act as project leader in the development of new generation resources, overseeing all phases from site selection to issuance of necessary agreements. Coordinate project activities with internal departments and external consultants/contractors. Present analysis results and recommended actions to leadership, stakeholders, and customers. Mentor and train new analysts and engineers in resource planning and development. Manage budgets for major projects, including planning, design, and construction. What It Takes To Succeed:
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a related field.Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.Additional Information:
Requires an experienced Project Lead familiar with siting and developing new power generation resources. Successful implementation of these projects is critical for meeting future reliability needs and transitioning to a lower carbon future. Projects have significant reputational, political, and financial implications. Focus on developing resources to support reliability and carbon reduction goals at the lowest cost for customers. Requires in-depth knowledge and experience with site selection, regulatory compliance, conceptual design, permitting, cost estimation, and scheduling across various resource types (thermal, solar, wind, geothermal, etc.). Pay Details:
