Job Description Currently our Benefits organization has a Manager, Benefits (LOA/ADA) opportunity. This positions responsibilities are identified but not limited to:
Leave of Absence
Manage and administer all aspects of our LOA Programs and Policies.
Serve as the subject matter expert for our LOA program in alignment with government regulations, company policy and legal guidance.
Serve as the LOA primary point of contact for phone, emails, and mail communications with employees, management, our HR team, and 3rd party entities.
Evaluate our current process and suggest/implement process improvement when applicable.
Provide instruction to employees and training for managers and HR staff on appropriate procedure for all types of leaves.
Develop, generate and present reports to analyze leave data and trends. Provide accurate tracking of all leaves from start dates, to return dates, intermittent leaves, pay, benefits, etc.
Oversee integration of leaves (i. e. workers compensation with FMLA) and integration with other functions (benefits during LOA, payroll, etc.).
Manage LOA tracking software of Presagia System.
Review, update and maintain all LOA policies to ensure legal compliance, ensure proper distribution and integration with all other departments and training of HR and non-HR Managers.
Ensure highest level of customer service and responsiveness throughout the LOA process with employees, managers, our HR team, and 3rd party entities throughout the LOA process.ADA responsibilities are listed but not limited to:
This role will also provide guidance and training to Employee Relations partners, HR Business Partners, managers, and employees on employee relations issues related to medical conditions, such as leave policies and reasonable accommodations. The position is responsible for implementing the operational strategy, administration, and management for all job accommodations, aligned with SVB Culture. In addition, you will provide accommodation designs and administers proactive programs, procedures, and plans related to employee relations accommodations.
Responsible for managing the Reasonable Accommodation (ADA) process regarding employee leaves and when requests come up outside of leaves
Act as the subject matter expert for accommodation programs; use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complicated or sensitive claims. Be the escalation point for more complex issues arising from the HR Business Partner cases
Promote knowledge and understanding for leaders and employees in regard to the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, Family, and Medical Leave Act, and other compliance issues, as they relate to the medical accommodation process.
Actively participate in initiatives to maintain and improve processes and collaborate effectively with all parties involved ensuring a strong culture of customer service
Cultivate a strong client-oriented service rapport with HRBP teams, and other internal partners, that is based on a high level of collaboration and inclusion.
Develop templates/ tools and coach Partners on how to facilitate and administratively document the interactive process with employees seeking a reasonable accommodation in partnership with leadership and other key resources to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws.
Qualifications:

BA/BS or equivalent business experience preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in an HR/Benefits related position.
Previous experience in leave of absence administration (of both continuous and intermittent leaves) in a high volume is required.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state leave related regulations including FMLA, ADAAA (including the interactive process) and HIPAA General understanding of employee benefits as they relate to leaves of absence, including short/long term disability, COBRA, state disability pay, etc.

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
HR Compensation & BenefitsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
