In this role, you will support the foster care or adoptive families by providing case management, knowledge of the foster care system, trainings, and crisis management as needed to care for children in their homes.
This Specialist assists in placements, conducts home visits and licensing investigations, monitors Corrective Action compliance, and advocates for the child in court hearings, Child Family Team meetings, and others as scheduled, to assess safety and best interest of the child.
This position provides clear and accurate documentation of visits, maintains licensing/adoption records, and submits renewal license and license amendments when required.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in a human service field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Service, Counseling, etc) and 2 years' experience with child welfare, human services and/or families 21 years of age or older Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, DCS Clearance with no substantiated reports and Background checks as required.
Current Arizona State Driver's License with a good driving record for the past 3 years, and current personal vehicle liability insurance and vehicle registration What we offer:
