Is responsible for supervising, nurturing, caring and maintaining a safe environment for all children residing at L's House, LLC.
Direct care staff are expected to assist children by directing interaction, including but not limited to behavioral management, facilitating recreational and social life skills.
L's House provides a friendly, safe and family oriented atmosphere for our staff and residents.
The staff are encouraged to maintain a scheduled day to day living environment while providing care to our children.
Our top priority is to ensure the continued cleanliness, health and safety of all residents at all times.
Salary:
Starting pay will be based on experience with a range of $15.

Qualifications:
Proof of H.
S.
Diploma/GED One year experience working with children, preferably ages 6-17, or one-year post-high school education in a program leading to a degree in the field of child welfare or human services No Crimes against children Must pass a criminal background check and be able to obtain fingerprint clearance Current immunization records Must be able to pass health physical and TB testing Valid AZ State issued Driver's License Job Duties:
Serve as an advocate for L's House, LLC.
residents, supervising and assisting with their daily activities as they work to achieve their individual goals.
Meeting the needs of each child at their individual level.
Monitoring the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of children and reporting changes to designated parties.
Monitoring proper medication administration as prescribed by a healthcare provider to ensure safety.
Implement L's House, LLC.
's rules and expectations.
Ensure that children are engaged and supervised at all times.
Encourage children's continued engagement in social activities and relationships at home and in the community.
Ongoing participation in children's scheduled appointments, (e.
g.
, doctor visits, CFT's, Med Checks, parent teacher conferences, etc.
) as well as communication with a variation of individuals and groups (e.
g.
, case managers, supervisor, families, therapists etc.
) in a positive and professional manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children by performing ongoing general cleaning, light housekeeping and personal hygiene care.
Ability to utilize appropriate emergency procedures as needed.
Assist children with meal preparation and clean up, according to OSHA regulations.
Operation of various equipment as needed (e.
g.
, copier, telephone, computer, food prep equipment, etc.
).
Accompanying children on trips, errand running as needed.
