Job Description:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for performing analytics and statistical analysis to drive performance improvements across a broad range of business functions including Production, Engineering, Quality and Operations.
Work directly with test and production personnel.
Take time studies, calculate throughputs and cycle times to reduce variability, achieve improved productivity, reduce cycle times and waste.
Reviews and recommends changes to existing business procedures and methods by incorporating data analysis techniques.
Present results to management, including data-driven business recommendations and alternatives.
Provides accurate timely status reports/scoreboards, delivering assignments on-time with a high level of quality.
Collaborate with users and team members to provide accurate estimates for assigned tasks.
Work individually and as a team member to ensure stability of company production systems.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (EE, ME, CS, ChE), Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Management Science or other management/quantitative discipline required.
Advanced degree preferred Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills and an innate desire to learn and continually improve.
Understanding of ISO 9001:
2015 Quality Management Systems, AS9100, and knowledge of design techniques, tools, and related principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models desired.
Knowledge of practical application of Engineering science and technology; including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services is desired.
ANOVA, DOE, SPC, FMEA, PPAP and regression analysis Knowledge of statistical and simulation software, e.

Arena, MINITAB, JMP, Matlab, SAS and SimCad Experience in creating Access databases and Excel Reports, using modules, forms, macros and formulas IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certification a plus Six Sigma and / or LEAN manufacturing certification a plus Job Profile Matching Criteria:
