Tempe, AZ Tempe, AZ Full-time Full-time $17 - $24 an hour $17 - $24 an hour The Auto Title Specialist will perform various tasks associated with acquisition, recording, correction, transfer, and release of vehicle certificates of title for our retail automobile loan portfolio.
The primary objectives of this position are the timely receipt of accurate vehicle titles or lien placement, and the timely release of titles and liens on paid in full customer accounts.
Additional duties include facilitating transfers of registration and corrections to titles.
What is a day in the life at Flagship as an Auto Title Specialist? Ensure all perfected titles are received for all new originations and submitted to custodian in a timely manner Makes outbound contacts with Sales, Dealers, Internal Departments, Auction Vendor, etc.
on outstanding title issues until resolution.
Prepares, submits, and tracks Dealer demand letters for outstanding titles Validate and complete paid Loan Process including request and processing of title, completion of associated letters and ultimate filing of loan documents Maintain relationship with outside titling vendors and state DMV agencies including requests for services, tracking status of requests and processing of associated invoices Processes, tracks, and reconciles all requests for document withdrawals from custodian, title corrections, title exceptions and documents as requested from Remarketing, Total Loss, Legal or other internal departments Perform administrative duties associated with titling process Facilitates transfers of registration for customers re-locating across state lines Processes incoming Vehicle Lien Registrations, including faxes and original documents Responds to general customer inquiries regarding vehicle titles and registration issues Responds to internal title and registration inquiries Processes release of lien on various circumstances, routing titles or other security interest instruments to the appropriate parties in a timely manner About you:

Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience Previous automotive titling and customer service experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines Versatility in job functionality and quick to assimilate procedural changes Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness Ability to work independently Superior data entry skills Intermediary level of Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of SHAW servicing system is a plus Web navigation and/or web-based applications Personal computer:
