A successful candidate will have advanced database management skills.
SQL, VBA, and other programming skills, and extensive experience in creating and maintaining large project execution databases.
o Write and execute SQL queries on SQL Server, Oracle and MS Access databases.
o Create SQL Server database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, etc.
o Write MS Access VBA code to develop desktop and web applications.
o Create MS Access forms code to manage data o Import and Export data into and out of the MS Access applications.
o Write VBA code to automate tasks.
o Organize and Normalize data into tables.
o Manage process controls.
o Guide the development plan and help continuously improve the database and applications.
o Conceptualize, and create new database applications to serve customer needs.
Here's What You'll Need:
(Extensive experience = 5
years) o 10
years experience with SQL scripting, VBA, and MS Access.
o Experience with SQL Server 2012 (SSMS) or later.
o Experience with relational database structures.
o Experience with integrating MS Excel into an Access database.
o Experience with Data analysis and data mapping and migration.
o Experience with integrating data from external sources.
o Strong written communication skills and ability to communicate with management teams.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Zealous attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE o SharePoint environment, particularly the integration with MS applications and Power Pivot.
o Power Pivot and DAX formula language.
o Oracle SQL Developer.
