Provide customers phone, e-mail, and/or on-site technical support for our products.
Answer technical questions on the proper use, configuration, and implementation of our product in the customer application. Advise and assist customers with circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection, as well as debug of system problems.
Develop and execute technical training for customers as well as internal and Distributor Field Application Engineers (FAEs)
Provide product- and system-level debug and analysis support to the Quality team for customer device returns.
Write data sheets, errata, reference manuals, application notes, layout guidelines, and other technical collateral for each product.
Validate applications use-cases via simulations and lab measurements and analysis and assist the design, product engineering, and test engineering teams during the entire new product development cycle.
Develop evaluation boards, demos, and reference designs including delivery of demo software and driver code and well-written documentation.
Perform competitive product and BOM level analysis and provide inputs on roadmaps and new products ideas to Marketing and the Product Definers.
Contribute to the overall corporate and divisional goals of minimizing costs, contributing to the intellectual property bank, quality and reliability improvement, and customer goodwill.
Willingness and ability to travel for customer support located around the world (5%-15% time).

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role where the engineer must have the ability to fluently discuss technical details with customer hardware engineers and internal IC design, product and test engineers.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher degree in Electrical/ Electronic engineering or related disciplines. Specific domain knowledge in power electronics, power management, motor drivers, or analog systems desired.
5+ years of industry experience in analog/power/mixed-signal applications engineering, embedded systems, systems engineering, circuit design, or product test engineering. Direct experience in a previous customer-facing role is highly desired.
Relevant experience in motor/motion control in the fields of automotive, industrial, consumer, or medical applications is highly desired.
Excellent hands-on lab debug and analysis skills using state-of-the-art bench level test equipment is required. Engineer will be expected to bring up new products and debug customer issues and returns.
Familiarity with writing assembly and embedded C code to write demo and test hardware code is highly desired.
Experience with EMC/EMI mitigation techniques and measurement equipment is desired.
Expert-level proficiency with CAE tools in order to capture schematic and PCB designs, create and release artwork, parts procurement, and initial sample assembly is desired.
Ability to analyze and solve problems with minimal direction in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment by leveraging your formal and informal network of advisors, mentors, or senior engineers.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
