Due to our continued growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Systems Engineer for a position located in Tempe, Arizona.
Job Summary:
The iTRACS Post Sales System Engineer (PSE) is responsible for leading the timely and complete enablement of all customers who purchase iTRACS services. The PSE utilizes a diverse knowledge of project controls, business acumen and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of large enterprise projects and clients in order to successfully complete projects on time and with quality.
Essential Functions:
Review and assist customers in modification or establishment of business processes to incorporate iTRACS solutions into customers day-two operations.
Work with multiple advocates (daily user, management and executive sponsors) to identify, track and verify (against user defined KPIs) that projects are a success.
Lead large scale and multiple-phased application/process implementations to verify customer day-two adoptions.
Lead small application/process implementation projects to verify customer adoption within accelerated timelines
Conduct in-person and web based knowledge transfer sessions (training) with a focus on enabling a customers continued usage and increased adoption of iTRACS Solutions.
Work with project stakeholders (internal and external) to identify the scope of the project.
Review customer data and identify gaps, risks and strategies to reduce or minimize those risks.
Provide oversight and direction to internal and external teams to verify project success criteria are met
Work with Project Management to communicate progress updates to the project stakeholders and participate in routine customer project calls and/or meetings.
Work with customer to evaluate and schedule resources, and review project status and/or obstacles.
Convert and import customer data, from a variety of formats, into the iTRACS data model (data transformation), build reports, dashboards, charts and graphs as necessary to properly present data.
Provide weekly project plan or production database updates to customer and iTRACS Services team; Complete and submit all administrative reports on time such as project status reports, project plans, and acceptance documents.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to capture and show an understanding of customer business requirements in writing and apply ITIL best practices to deliver quantifiable value back to the customer.
Solid background in analytic/reporting systems such as Jaspersoft or Crystal Reports
Must have demonstrated knowledge of computer systems analysis and debugging methods, and current techniques for troubleshooting applications and systems problems. Strong analytical through processes a plus
Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate detailed information over the phone, in writing and in person.
Ability to communicate well with both individuals and groups, including experience in the presentation of technical material to both expert and general audiences.
Must have experience with the following with regards to Data Centers:
Physical and Network Design/Layout
Data Center Space, Power and Network requirements
Data Center IT Work Process flow, including equipment commissioning and decommissioning
Solid understanding of database structures and database systems
Solid understanding of Windows and Linux (Red Hat) operating systems
Should have a strong understanding of the network physical infrastructure environment.
This includes an understanding of the following devices and concepts: Switches, Servers, VLANS, Routers, and Structured Cabling Systems concepts, SAN/LAN.
Must be proficient in utilizing ETL tools
Must be proficient in with Excel macros
Experience with computer programming languages a plus (candidate should list which languages and level of proficiency)
Excellent skill set in other MS productivity tools (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
3D Modeling experience a plus
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in computer science or other related field.
10+ years experience in leading deployments of large-scale, complex, enterprise level, software applications
Active ITIL or equivalent ITSM certification preferred
PMP, Six Sigma or other project management certification is preferred
Successful candidates will be able to exhibit quantifiable results in delivering large-scale, complex; IT related projects on time, within budget and in line with agreed to project deliverables.
Experience in leading in-person and on-line classes for training on software applications is preferred
Travel: Between 50% to 70% domestic and international travel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
