BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB
The Product Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, margin targets and supplier reimbursement (SR) targets for all assigned categories of products or services sold by the company. This is done through the development and implementation of successful product marketing programs unique to the specific categories, business units and selling venues, supported by the development of competitive strategies relative to vendors, pricing, assortment and merchandising.

Essential Functions of the Job:
Identify, publish and measure sales, margin and SR targets for each assigned category and sub category in support of overall company objectives.
Working very closely with the sales teams and the marketing group, develop and implement product/vendor marketing programs designed to increase sales and margins while achieving a high level of vendor funding support.
Build increasingly stronger relationships with assigned manufacturers; insure that Insight is viewed positively at all levels within the vendor''s organization.
Develop and manage pricing strategies for assigned categories that allow us to be competitive while maintaining the maximum product gross margins.
Continuously develop and apply category expertise that includes product knowledge, product demand, pricing direction, vendor direction, roadmaps, hot solutions and price points, bundling opportunities, funding programs and the competitive landscape.
Merchandise assigned categories for all our marketing vehicles in the form of compelling product offers, bundles or solutions across all the categories; this includes direct mail pieces, the web sites, sales floor promotions, print media, e:mails, events, trade shows, etc.
Work closely with the vendor community and the sales force to create highly demanded product offers, bundles and solutions for our target markets.
Build and employ solid communication vehicles with the Purchasing team, Sales, Marketing and the Centers of Excellence to make sure we minimize inventory risk, help the sales team close business, create successful marketing programs, and insure we take full advantage of all MDF and Co-op opportunities.
Develop and implement all add-on sales strategies, facilitate the communication of the strategies, including communication on the web and all other applicable marketing venues.
Drive the continuous improvement of Marketing copy and content for all product descriptions, pictures and marketing tag lines for all products within assigned categories.
Measure and publish weekly/monthly reporting of sales, margin, SR and performance of all product marketing campaigns and other product related metrics relative to assigned categories.
Maintain regular communications vehicles with all the sales locations to make sure we are providing the right product offers and solutions for their local markets.
Continuously identify systems requirements, categorization needs, web site improvements, process requirements, etc. in support of the overall objectives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor''s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
