Due to our continued growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Business Analyst for an opportunity located in Tempe, Arizona.
GENERAL
Summary:
Incumbent will be responsible for working with our product management and software development departments as well as customers and business partners to identify, analyze and document requirements in support of new or to evolve existing features in our Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) application. This role will require the individual to work collaboratively with the Product Management, SDLC Project Manager, Quality Assurance, Software Development Leadership, and Document Control, in ensuring that delivered solutions align to customer and market requirements.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst (BA) facilitates Epic and Story discussion between the Product Owner the Technical Architect Team Leads and Customers. The successful candidate will have a technical background and system knowledge to draw out functional requirements.
The Business Analyst will help translate User/Customer requirements into more technical language for the Architect Leads, Team Leads and UI/UX Engineer to help identify Stories and Estimate associated Task. QA and Document Control will also be engaged to estimate their associated task.
The successful candidate must be able to write functional and non-functional requirements expressed as user stories to be used in an Agile-style Scrum process software development.
Strong workshop and facilitation experience required.
Breakdown Epics and Requirements into User Stories (including Stories in partnership with our UI/UX Designer; developers will then use these User Stories and UI Specifications to produce working code)
Collaborative Requirements for this position include:
Incumbent will work with the Product Managers to gather the Objectives, Epics and High-Level Architecture Specifications and; work with the Agile Development Architect Leads to define Stories/Requirements and associated Task.
The Technical Team members and Quality Assurance (QA) will collaborate with the Agile Business Analyst and Product Owner to develop the project stories/requirements to ensure the stories provide enough details that specifications can be built and tested.
The Business Analyst will participate in product steering meetings to support change management and issue escalations.
Experience of working with developers during builds and testing
Business Analyst will develop a good understanding of iTRACS solution Architecture to help bridge the gap between the Development Teams and the Roadmap/Business Objectives. This will help enable the Agile BA to show how features will be implemented in the upcoming and future Releases.
Incumbent must have the abilities and skills to accept input from all the Agile Team participants to help specify more robust solutions that meets the evolving needs of business vision and, help create a strong sense of confidence that the solution can be delivered to market.
Must be a self-starter with initiative to acquire expert knowledge on portfolio and operations.
Be able to demonstrate experience in understanding basic database queries and application log analysis to validate requirements and logical design models.
Will be involved in capturing changes within the existing product backlog and decomposing broad backlog entries into development ready tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Strong understanding or experience in data centers is strongly encouraged. Candidates are encouraged to describe their experiences and how they enable them to be more successful as a Business Analyst.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 6-8 years of progressively diverse analysis, documentation and testing experience using Web and XML technologies. The person must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above.
A Bachelors degree with extensive coursework in Computer Science or an equivalent / related degree.
Experience of working in an Agile / Scrum environment including user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience with software engineering infrastructure, including configuration/build management tools, release/change control, and issue-tracking tools.
Experience with Jira/GreenHopper a plus.
Experience meeting with customers and leading requirement gathering sessions.
Understanding of software development processes, database and system design.
Collaborative team player with a proven track record of working with IT developers, testers, analysts, and technicians while building a strong working relationships within all departments of the organization.
Must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, as well as logical, and analytical skills, which can be applied within an application development environment, reconciling use cases and requirements, to support optimum solution for a feature/functionality set.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to think independently and conduct duties absent of day to day management.
Must be proficient with SharePoint, MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and Visio.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Preference will be given to candidates who already have worked with a UI Prototype designer
Familiarity with PHP and HTML5 a plus
Enthusiastic, positive, team oriented, and organized
Familiarity with internet (Web/Mobile technologies), client/server and web services architectures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
