Due to our continued growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Web Application Developer for an opportunity located in Tempe, Arizona.
GENERAL
Summary:
The Web Application Developer is responsible for the design and implementation of an enterprise class web application providing business critical datacenter management solution. The front-end architecture is composed of a JavaScript framework utilizing current HTML 5 and CSS 3 standards and supported by a RESTful Web Service backend. The role will leverage the latest web technologies, industry and Company-defined language standards and best practices to deliver the web application to a global customer base. The role requires an individual who can work collaboratively within an Agile software development environment across the multiple browser platforms with small teams consisting of onsite and remote developers. The developer shall be responsible for the estimation, design, implementation, and unit testing of all assigned tasks within a sprint.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Development of robust, scalable and extendable HTML/CSS and JavaScript, including code documentation.
Adherence to iTRACS coding standards and best practices.
Ownership of CSS files; organization, allocation, content, consolidation and support with a focus on footprint and maintainability.
Integration of jQuery UI elements and CSS styles in adherence to iTRACS design and style guidelines.
Adherence to iTRACS Source Control Management (Git) policies and guidelines.
Active participant in code reviews.
Active participant in requirement review, task estimation and decomposition.
Collaborate with team members to ensure implementation of features/functionality conforms to release/business objectives.
Review, estimation and resolution of product defects.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance in iterative build and test cycles during iterations as well as jointly conducted defect resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development or relevant field of study plus two (2) to five (5) years of experience in professional software development with a focus on agile web development OR Masters Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development or relevant field of study plus zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in professional software development with a focus on agile web development
Expert working knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS 3 a must.
Intermediate or better working knowledge of JavaScript.
Intermediate or better working knowledge of RESTful Web Services, SOAP, and XHR/AJAX.
Intermediate or better understanding of web development industry standards.
Novice or better working knowledge of Git version control system.
Experience with JQuery and JQuery UI required.
Experience with JQuery UI theme styling required.
Experience with vector graphics a plus.
Experience with HTML template engines (such as Mustache) a plus.
Experience with SASS/SCSS a plus.
Experience with HTML 5 Canvas and SVG a plus.
Experience with NodeJS is a plus.
Experience with PHP a plus.
