Engineer, Analog CAD

Maintain and enhance analog CAD infrastructure for all R&D projects in a multi-site environment. Evaluate state-of-the-art EDA vendor tools, which include providing detailed feedback, and generation and execution of roll-out plans for new capabilities. Provide ongoing support to analog R&D design teams regarding instruction or questions they have with regard to using EDA tools in the development and testing of their designs. Generate test cases, track and prioritize any issues found with EDA tools. Contribute to the documentation, testing and release of specific combinations of internal and third party software used by R&D designers. Develop in-house utilities as needed. Provide analog mixed signal (AMS) simulation support, and direct to R&D design teams on AMS tasks, including model generation and verification. Enhance AMS verification flows by developing procedures to automate tasks. May be assigned to various engineering projects that utilize required skills.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of work experience in job offered or in an electronics or computer-related occupation.
