This role with be performed from the AMOC in Tempe, AZAmazon is looking for a smart, enthusiastic and hard-working candidate to join our AMAZON Fulfillment Center team.
The Buyer will develop skills and work across many areas to grow and improve their partner vendor's success at Amazon.
You will be responsible for inventory management of all maintenance, repairs, operating equipment (MRO) and supplies required for the operation of the Fulfillment Center (FC).
You'll also help administer local/provincial/federal contracts and manage vendor relationships, as well as maintain vendor contract files as required by Amazon policies, and work with the Operations Department administering the flow of non-inventory goods in a just in time (JIT) environment.
You'll also review forecasts and analyze daily/weekly/monthly/annual historical usage information to help determine:
Consumable item projections Short-term requirements Potential Obsolete/Slow moving items Excess Inventory
Responsibilities:
Based on projections, initiate the purchase order process to procure non-inventory goods, such as packaging materials, maintenance supplies & parts, and office supplies.
Process daily procurement requests from various departments utilizing Oracle to place orders, and verify that vendors meet the terms and conditions of purchase orders and all corporate spend policies are adhered to.
Help research and find qualified vendors for a variety of FC needs.
Continually shop the market for less expensive solutions.
Invoice management; resolve any account payable issues regarding open invoices, including managing timely receiving and matching proper purchase order to correct invoice.
Respond to vendor payment inquires.
Track the balance of blanket purchase orders and how usage is tracking against plan.
Train and provide support (FC wide) on the Amazon procurement process.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
