Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Ever wondered how millions of sellers build their business using Amazons marketplace and fulfillment capabilities? Our group is at the center of the action, building systems that enable sellers to fulfill orders leveraging Amazon's vast network of warehouses.
You'll be helping to deliver cutting edge and highly distributed systems to enable merchants to deliver orders to their customers with incredible speed.
You will join a highly technical and entrepreneurial culture defining and building the next generation of a fulfillment solution for 3rd party merchants and brand owners.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer on the team, you will collaborate with developers, product managers and customer support to identify unambiguous software requirements, understand all features and their implementation details, understand customer usage models and then develop and execute strategies to deliver that software into our customers' hands in an efficient fashion with a high degree of confidence in its quality.
Our QAEs use black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques; they are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests and/or user-level test automation tools.
Software QAEs work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation.
QAEs also work with groups such as Product Management, User Experience Design, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and test suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests.

This QAE role will support up to 5 development teams, helping them raise the quality bar.
This includes guiding development teams in designing and building for quality, providing guidance on most suitable testing frameworks on a feature level, building feature test plans, executing them (both manually and via test automation), and creating test harnesses.
