oMonitoring vital signs, medication management, assisting with transfers/ADLs, collaboration with other staff nurses and nursing supervisor to deliver conservative and preventative care.
oAssess patients' condition during every visit and chart your observationsoPerform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication reviewoAdminister medication as prescribed by the patient's PhysicianoDress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healingoEducate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and proceduresoCoordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians and anyone else involved in the patient's care planoProvide palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortableoMake recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of lifeoListen to the patient and respond to concerns or requestsoSome RN house duties including light house cleaning, cooking, ordering/organizing supplies (medical and/or misc.
), arranging appointments, etc.
Due to the safety sensitive nature of the position, all candidates will be subject to background screening, drug testing, skills testing, as well as other methods of new-hire screening.
